Desiree began her career as a Legal Secretary. She then moved to financial services, working in the Real Estate Department at Valley Bank in Reno, Nevada over 32 years ago. She went on to become an Office Manager/Bookeeper, handling all human resources and financial responsibilities for a Right-Of-Way firm. Desiree moved to Portland in 1999 and opened Balanced Books in June of 2000.
Delinah started her career in the restaurant business when she helped her family open the first L&L Hawaiian BBQ on the mainland in the year 2000. She moved on to open and run a preschool while finishing a double Masters in Healthcare and Business Administration. Delinah has been with Balanced Books since 2019.
